ivory coast style shell - lenke

some people have been asking me "why?"

why not? i love the simple aesthetic of a properly carved ivory coast shell with the bottom ledge and 3 rings on the bottom. plus, the opportunity presented itself.

if the guinea carvers can pull it off with a nice dense piece of lenke in 14.5" outer diameter range, it'll be a keeper.

if not, it'll be for sale!!!
